Doing the Happy Thing

And no, that’s not a euphemism! I’m doing the #100happydays challenge this January which asks you to post at least one photo every day of something which makes you happy. The idea being to highlight the good things in your life and make you aware of the happy moments, and presumably increasing positive energy and making more good stuff happen. I like the sound of that!

I’m doing #100happydays on Instagram. My biggest challenge so far seems to be not to take photos of food every day, it doesn’t feel right that chocolate biscuits should control my feelings of happiness all the time! Will you join me on my 100 days of happiness? Go on, you’ll feel better for it!

We live in times when super-busy schedules have become something to boast about. While the speed of life increases, there is less and less time to enjoy the moment that you are in. The ability to appreciate the moment, the environment and yourself in it, is the base for the bridge towards long term happiness of any human being.
